The Villani man and I spent a little bit of time writing and finishing off Demi’s Song recently @ Villani’s too-tres-cool-for-university mini-studio containing his all-new computer system and dual monitor set up; so we can chat with people and song write at the same time.
The place comes complete with its own stellar lighting system that makes it look like I know what I’m doing when I’m taking candid photos of Simon (again!).
Being the spy I am (my Greek spy name is Niko Stavros), I secretly made a copy of a rough mix of Demi’s Song and true-to-ninja-form, uploaded it here for you guys to listen and comment on without Villani’s knowledge.
Bahaha, bwahahaha, BWAHAHAHA!!

Why Demi’s song? Well she contributed a line here or there in the midst of the input of both myself and Simon’s strange lyrical ideas; aka genuis but not so much.
Then we both felt bad for making her listen to a particular line of the song on loop for an extended period of time… so for now we’re going to call it Demi’s Song in honour of Demi’s ability to stay sane (and almost quiet) during today’s song writing session.
Have a listen, leave a comment, tell us why you think we should burn this track and if you have title suggestion that is so good that we just have to use it, we’ll dedicate the song to you! How’s that for killer.

We like to call our songs-in-progress names that don’t have any real meaning. They’re temporary names until we find something more appropriate – which most often occurs after we finish the song. If you have title suggestions for this song, leave a comment and maybe the song title will be used; We’ll even dedicate the song to you!

Listen to the song idea, take a sneak peak into where the songwriting takes place, leave a comment, tell us you love it, tell us you hate it, stalk us, go through our rubbish, and maybe even suggest a lyric or two.
