Here’s a little sneak peak from last week’s songwriting session. Both the Villani and I were feeling inspired so we wrote 3 songs and made rough mixes of 2 songs – now up for your auditory pleasure/torture depending on what type of music you like and how you view sSalvia at the present time.

We like to call our songs-in-progress names that don’t have any real meaning. They’re temporary names until we find something more appropriate – which most often occurs after we finish the song. If you have title suggestions for this song, leave a comment and maybe the song title will be used; We’ll even dedicate the song to you!

Listen to the song idea, take a sneak peak into where the songwriting takes place, leave a comment, tell us you love it, tell us you hate it, stalk us, go through our rubbish, and maybe even suggest a lyric or two.

I’m back at the unofficial songwriting desk with sSalvia (Mr. Simon Villani) creating some musical fusion everyone! There are a few new songs we’re working on with lyrics surrounding choice topics such as eagles and fires or maybe even possibly both!

One can only spend so long, however, trying to convince the other half (Simon) the genius in writing songs about pants with holes in them. Exhausted and feeling all artsy, I decided my energies were better spent taking candids of Simon.

Once Simon realized that the camera was there… he started posing…

Public disruption, indecent exposure, possible trespassing, close calls (having cars nearly run over the equipment), and being chased down alleyways by imaginary Rottweilers? All in a days work for sSalvia; especially when we’re talking about photographing for EP artwork and promotional photos.
With a 6 AM wake up call, wardrobe selection, location scouting and hours of scheduling later, the sSalvia team got together for the sSalvia promotional photo shoot.
Check out some of the behind-the-scenes shots Nancy took of what went down.
A big thanks to Nancy who came along for the day and helped out with wardrobe and James Troi for photographing sSalvia.
